Antique Glass Sign
RCA VICTOR
Rare Sign, Perhaps Unique
Great sign is hand painted on glass - on the inside (reverse painted). The letters are gold with a blue outline and the background is black. The visible glass is 16.5 by 22.5 inches and the frame is 19.5 by 25.5 inches. The frame is a mahogany veneer 19 Century frame; the age of the glass is unknown. Pictures: 1 - is a close up of the sign, 2 - shows the frame, 3 - 6 show the lettering, 7 -9 show visible lines & blemishes in the background barely visible from the front of the sign, 10- shows the sign with the cardboard backing removed (which we replaced) and the sunlight visible thru the glass, 11 - 12 is the sign again with the back installed.
THIS IS A GREAT SIGN FOR DISPLAY, FOR A COLLECTOR OR PROFESSIONAL.
LOOKS OUTSTANDING WHEN HANGING.
FRAME NEEDS SOME TLC CLEANING/VARNISH or POLISH
